We had the unique opportunity to completely redesign this residential landscape on the corner of North Lake Shore Drive and 13th Avenue, across the street from the Lake Worth Beach Golf Club. The house overlooks one of the golf course greens, and the owner assisted putting a lot of thought into the look and selection of Florida native species of plants. The entire landscape was re-created using new hardscape for the front yard walkway and backyard patio. Design aspects included a small pebble rain garden feature in the backyard to contain drainage, sitting space for company in the backyard, a small Zoysia lawn in the front yard, and an array of different native plants to provide shade with a comfortable natural look. We started the project in 2014 and completed it over the course of 3-4 months. The property has a dramatic look with several Sabal Palms planted at specific angles.
