Native Plant Design and Installation (Fort Lauderdale, Florida)

This was a special project in which we designed the landscape around a beautiful Lignum Vitae tree. We worked in tandem with a contractor remodeling the interior of the house. Sustainscape was responsible for the complete installation of a new irrigation system and new plumbing to the city water meter. All of the existing pipe and plumbing was compromised from age and tree roots. A careful selection of plants was included in the design consisting of 80% native and 10% exotic and 10% edible. There was a flagstone walkway path carefully designed by Dennis to fit the needs of the client to access and enjoy different aspects of the landscape. Any new landscape project with construction has its challenges, but remarkably, the Lignum Vitae tree was preserved and bloomed profusely after the landscape was completed.
