We are often presented with a request from our clients that is not necessarily in the landscape genre. Dennis continues to use sustainability as a driving force to create beauty in the outside world while being an artisan at heart. Bamboo is a fantastic wood that is renewable. It is not a native plant to South Florida, however, and should be planted using caution at any property. Our clients in Long Lake Estates wanted to repurpose some of the bamboo shoots creating a beautiful entrance into their home. Each shoot had to be carefully selected from different species of bamboo. We devised a method to brace each shoot, sanded / treated each piece, and placed them in an intricate pattern. The outcome was amazing!
